Hey all. Michael here. I just read this amazing article in Entertainment Weekly about a film called THE ROOM. It is directed by this guy Tommy Wiseau, and it apparently has a huge cult following in L.A. I am gonna have to find this sucker on DVD because if it is that bad that people love it, it’s gotta be awesome!
The line in the trailer/movie that everyone quotes is, “You are tearing me apart, Lisa!” After you watch the trailer, you will know why.
By the way, the article, which is located here, points out that the rooftop scenes are filmed on what appears to be a green/blue screen instead of an actual rooftop. That is hilarious because it probably cost more to film on green than on the actual rooftop.

By the way, I saw THE WRESTLER a few weeks ago. It wasn’t the best movie of last year (GRAN TORINO, WALL*E, and maybe IRON MAN were better, I believe…maybe), but it is DEFINITELY worth seeing. It is a really great small movie.
